The Centre for Initiatives on Children, Youth and Community (CICYC) is an Organized Research and Development Unit at Carleton University. CICYC is comprised of faculty from Carleton University and their colleagues in community organizations and private agencies who are dedicated to research and development, as well as related activities that promote the safety, health and well being of Canadian children and youth. CICYC members have worked on community safety projects as well as those involving community mobilization, community development, community-level partnerships and the sustainability of community-level initiatives as they partain to responding children and youth.
