Carleton Graduate Research Forum
The Graduate Students’ Association, in coordination with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs (FGPA), is pleased to announce the first Graduate Research Forum at Carleton University.
The forum will take place on Wednesday, March 27.
This is an opportunity to showcase graduate work done in departments across the university. We are seeking students from every department across the university to participate! We also invite graduate departmental societies and research groups to host a table during the event (contact: researchforum@gsacarleton.ca)
The Forum starts at 9:30 a.m. and will take place in the River Building Atrium. Members of the Carleton and Ottawa communities will be invited to the forum to speak with graduate students and learn more about the research being done on campus. This is an exciting opportunity for students to make connections and gain experience demonstrating the value of their work.
The day will also feature a panel discussion on research communication, the Three Minute Thesis Finals, and a Keynote Address from James Turk, Executive Director of the Canadian Association of University Teachers. The forum will culminate in a social at Mike’s Place!
The GSA has created an 11×17 fillable form template to make it easy for students to participate! If you are interested in participating you can register here: http://www5.carleton.ca/fgpa/grad-services/graduate-research-forum/
