New Grad Student and TA Orientation
The Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs (FGPA) will be hosting an orientation for all new graduate students on Tuesday, September 3, 2013. In collaboration with the Graduate Students’ Association (GSA) and CUPE 4600, the day will include a general information session followed by various specific sessions. It’s your chance to meet with fellow students and staff from across the Carleton campus. Current graduate students and Postdoctoral Fellows are invited to the BBQ and Grad Social.

Additional Orientation Activities
ISSO Orientation for International and Exchange Students
International students will be introduced to the Carleton campus and will receive important guidelines and instructions on immigration and health care procedures in Canada. Attendance at is strongly encouraged for all new international graduate and exchange students. Learn More
The first step in making a smooth transition to Carleton is attending Winter Orientation. This program is designed to introduce you to the campus and university services, provide you with the opportunity to meet new people, and to help you prepare for the start of your academic career.
This program is free of charge – please register early as space is limited.
Note that both orientation sessions are the same; therefore register for only the session that best suits your schedule.
