The Institute of Cognitive Science supports a weekly colloquium series and an annual series of Distinguished Lectures.

The Distinguished Lectures in Cognitive Science started in 1995.  We have hosted a variety of well-known researchers over the years, including Daniel Dennett, Zenon Pylyshyn, Alison Gopnik, Ray Jackendoff, and many others.

In 2009, the series was named the Andrew Brook Distinguished Lecture Series in honour of the founder of the Institute of Cognitive Science.
