The Institute of Interdisciplinary Studies is the home of four interdisciplinary programs of study: Child Studies, Human Rights, Directed Interdisciplinary Studies and a Sexuality Studies Minor. Each program is overseen by a program committee, chaired by a coordinator, and supported by a student society which plans speakers, events, and get-togethers. IIS brings together faculty and students from across the campus who share research interests that cut across traditional disciplinary boundaries, in the arts, social and natural sciences.
