The Kailash Mital Theatre is Carleton University’s fully equipped 444 seat performance Theatre. Professionally equipped, managed and staffed, the Kailash Mital Theatre is suitable for Dramatic Productions, Acoustic and Amplified Concerts, and both Conferences and Meetings.

The Kailash Mital Theatre is available to both on and off campus groups.

Our New Name: The Alumni Theatre has been renamed in recognition of the generous contribution Mr. Kailash Mital has made to the community at Carleton University.

Location

The Kailash Mital Theatre is located on the Colonel By side of the campus. It is attached to Southam Hall, next to Parking Lot #1 and the adjacent Library Parking garage.

Parking

Parking is available  in both Lot #1 and the Library Parking Garage. On Saturdays and Sundays  it costs $2.00/day.  Parking on weekdays costs $3.50 per hour for a maximum of 4 hours ($13.00). The evening rate (after 5:00 pm) is $7.00. Pay and Display machines accept only coins and VISA.
