The School of Public Policy and Administration has been a centre of policy research and academic excellence for more than 60 years. This year, we have moved to our beautiful new home, Carleton’s River Building, one of the newest and greenest buildings in Canada.
The School’s master and doctoral degree programs prepare students for diverse careers in the public service, in the non-profit and private sectors, in academia and in research institutes. The graduate diploma programs provide opportunities for mid-career advancement.
Students from across Canada and across the world come to Carleton to study public policy in Canada’s capital. The School is proud of its collegial, interdisciplinary environment. Each year, we welcome about 60 new Masters’ students, six new PhD candidates and 25 diploma students.
