The Science Technology Centre (STC), a world class research and development facility, serves both the university community and external clientele.Established in 1957 as the Science Workshops, the STC provides custom manufacturing of research apparatus, teaching aids and timely repairs to a variety of university equipment.

The Science Technology Centre also provides external clientele with research support and manufacturing services. A highly skilled professional staff of technicians can provide solutions in Computer Numerical Control (CNC), manual machining, and all types of welding. The STC has the capability to take ideas from sketches or detailed drawing to the final product including limited production runs.
