5 things you need to know about Carleton Email
- You will receive a new, professional email address: Firstname_Lastname@Carleton.ca.
- It has 10 GB of storage.
- You don’t have to worry about lost mail or notifying correspondents of your new address, as any emails addressed to your old Connectmail address will be automatically forwarded.
- All of your Connectmail messages will be migrated over to your new Carleton Email for you.
- Any calendar items, contacts, or auto-forward settings you created in your old Connectmail account are not migrated over to your new Carleton Email account. But you can easily export this information and settings. Here’s how.
When will this change occur?
The roll out dates have not yet been finalized. But in the next month or so you’ll be invited to sign up for your new Carleton Email at your convenience during the winter and summer terms.
