The Peer Helper Program (PHP) is looking for students who would be interested in becoming Peer Helpers for the 2012/2013 Academic Year. The Peer Helper Program involves offices across the Carleton campus to give students the opportunity to work closely with professional staff and gain valuable skills, leadership and career-related experience through training, professional development, supervision, evaluation and the delivery of services and programs to fellow students.
Peers Helpers are responsible for a variety of tasks including: attending recruitment events; planning social events on campus; organizing community service opportunities; leading student committees and delivering academic support presentations – to name a few of the experiences.
